Hope and Encouragement from Psalm 91
Whom should we fear?
Almost every book of the Bible exhorts us to “not fear.” In fact, depending on the version or translation of the scriptures one uses, it is possible to pinpoint at least 145 different scriptures commanding just that. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand (1909—2001) an evangelical minister who endured 14 years of Communist imprisonment and torture in his homeland of Romania and went on to found Voice of the Martyrs, is said to have identified and memorized 366 such verses - one for every day of the year including leap year.
Why would this Biblical instruction be so pervasive? Because our Heavenly Father loves His children. If we are in Him, we need not fear.
Be hopeful. Be encouraged. God’s got this.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
